Silk scarves

The name “Elizabetta” comes from the years I spent in Rome. That’s what my Italian friends call me (I was called Elizabeth in London and New York where I did the rest of my growing up). Italy is now my permanent home where I live on and help run an agriturismo in Le Marche (in central Italy).

I have always worn silk scarves, I love the way they can change and accent any outfit. Every year in Italy I see more and more women – and men – wearing them. So I decided – why not bring Italian scarves back to the USA and start a web business to sell them. That led to expanding the line to shawls, wraps and stoles in a variety of fabrics. The quality of the fabrics, dyes and printing that is found in Italy is of the highest available anywhere.

My background is that I have been an interior designer for nearly 20 years, and that has included being a color consultant and a fabric consultant. I select fabrics that have an exceptional ability to accept color dyes and feel luscious and luxurious.
